I have just killed an hour and a half setting up a new gmail account and facebook. It was bill_schubert's idea. It took me a half dozen tries just to set up the email because I know how and don't need to read the fucking fine print. Ok so I do need to read the fucking fine print. Done. I'm still not sure if I have the actual mail set up right - so that all the ( Read more... )

pop me a test email to fbsusandennis@gmail.com would ya? i set it up so everything gets forwarded but 1. I don't think it's working and 2. I'm not entirely sure i want it to. it's easy enough to flip back and forth between accounts.

on the fb side, i cannot now remember what groups i wanted to monitor so the whole thing is kind of a wash anyway!

I am sending you a test message as well. If this all goes to hell, I want to keep in touch. What would I do without my daily swimming and Biggie updates? I’m on FB as well, since that’s where many of my friends migrated to after the Russian purchase of this site. It’s not ideal, but I can manage it.

I didn't mean to mislead. Sorry. I will only be using that email and fb to check a couple of communities and even that is a maybe. I'm not going to EVER post anything there and, turns out, I won't have any need to use that email address again. I'll be here on LJ or at susandennis.com

Yay for more swimming! And look how it is already benefiting you, with an easier walk home.

Except for the drying out bit, that is never fun. I lotion up soon as I shower afterwards.

You swim a mile, right? How long does it take you? I'm at 70 minutes and want to get to 60 or under. Fearfully slow, that's me! But I get there in the end.

well, lemme just check the stats here...

today was 56 mins. monday was 53 mins but i cheated by 150 yards. Sunday was 57 mins.

So I think we call it an hour :)

I used to work on my speed but then I decided that as long as I swam an hour, I was plenty fast enough for me :) Also my form/technique SUCKS but I don't care about that either. I gets in I swims I happy.
