My doctor sometimes orders a urine test and sometimes doesn't. I always ask him when he orders the labs, so I know whether to pee before I leave the house when I go get the blood draw. (Since I have to get it done before breakfast, I would normally pee first thing.)

At my last blood draw, the technician could not get a proper stab in my left arm, which is the one I've always used - apparently that's the problem; that vein has been stabbed so much there's a bunch of scar tissue. So she used the right, and it was fine. I'm not going to be having as many blood draws in the future than I have i the past, so my right-side veins should last.

I have to say, my dr rarely orders a pee test. Mostly just blood. But I have to admit I"m giggling at the idea of you carrying a jar of pee.
