His new perch arrived and he does not love it. Or maybe not yet. I moved his heating pad over to it. I don't hate it. It's kind of unabtrusive which is excellent. And it was very easy to put together.

I decided that today was tax day. I fired up Turbo Tax and did the deed. I earned way too much money last year. Ugh. But, the return creation was really straight forward. I don't have enough of anything to deduct so I just go with the default. I did need a form that wasn't in the free or either of the next two paid versions. So I had to pay Turbo ( Read more... )

I could not keep my eyes open last night so I turned out the light about 9. It took me less than a second to fall asleep. I woke up at 7:15. And, Fitbit says it was the worse night of sleep this week.

I got Biggie food

But, first, the weirdest thing ever. Biggie has his regular, favorite wet food in his bowl on the counter and I just saw him dig into it with his paw and then eat from his paw! WTF? Is he going to want a fork next? This cat is just nuts.

The vet and the internets and everyone else says that wet food is better for cats. Biggie always hated wet food until he screwed up his jaw in the dive off the terrace. I tried before then but had little success. Then, when he couldn't chew hard stuff, I dived in. He's been on nothing but wet food since. And it's been pretty much a disaster ( Read more... )

All these places announcing ending mask mandates makes me very twitchy. Our governor here in Washington is even saying soon. Of course, that does not mean I have to go face naked, but still. The Amazon Fresh store is always more pleasant and satisfying than I expect. Today I found breaded frozen okra!! We haven't had that available for purchase in Seattle since Cash and Carry discontinued theirs about 5 years ago. And they had everything else on my list ( Read more... )

I have 15 pouches of Wellness food that Biggie does not like. He does like midnight munchies. So last night I emptied one of those pouches into his bowl before bed. This morning it was nearly all gone. Good to know. I have a whole lotta cans of stuff he does not like, too. This could be a very good discovery ( Read more... )
