Its the getting caught in the hair thing, though. I like bats too, but they do zoom a bit. Your comment about Snape was funny.
Did I mention that I had a spider drop into the mug of water I keep by my bed? Recently. A big one. I saw it, so no question of drinking the thing, but the very idea has me completely traumatized. R very unhelpfully released it into the bedroom. He has this idea that we can live alongside spiders. OS and I get very distressed at the idea. YS is an amused spectator, occasionally reporting spiders to me to see how I react. With me it is size. Anything over three eighths of an inch is worrying.
Next time you stay over at my house I'll give you Ls bed then. Our spiders are gigantic and she has a fab mosquito net courtesy of Helen. :) Of course bats would never actually get in our hair because of their radar thingy - but they go so fast that the threat is there.
