Well, I'm not a master of Psychology yet, but I don't need to defend again. I need to rerun one of my experiments and turn the new draft in next fall (because I can't get participants until next fall, not because I couldn't do it sooner otherwise). I also need to rewrite my intro to include "more Psychology."

Status: not dead yet, condition

Something similar happened to me - they wanted "more psychology" throughout my thesis, so I ended up throwing in a bunch of stuff after my defense and then going through it with my advisor. Even with all that to do, it still felt great to have my defense done with. :-)

I heard a rumor (okay, John told me) that you would be in LA the same weekend Jamie and I will be there - if you send me a number where you (or John) can be reached, we can give you a call about the possibility of getting together if y'all are interested.
