Lots of new changes

Well as I posted previously lots of  changes. Mike applied for an got a full time position back with the company he worked with 10 years ago called Cox Communications in Phoenix, AZ. So as of 7/9/10 I am no longer employed with the State of Washington and on 7/27/10 we moved to NW Phoenix area. I am happy for my husband, great job, great money but

Bummer, I didnt get to see you before you left. Since you were permanent was there no way to transfer or apply for a gov job there?

You know something, I wish I could. But each state is independent. I do know that if I start working for the state of AZ prior to one year from leaving state of Wa. my retirement is bridged.

I have applied for 3 state jobs so far but no word yet.

I will have to keep hitting the bricks to get a great job here.
