LJ weirdness

Over the weekend, someone approached me and said that she'd read something on my LJ.  This struck me as peculiar, because I know she isn't on my friends list, and I was pretty sure that particular something was marked friends-only.  I've just checked, and indeed, she was able to read friends-locked content even though she isn't "friended

I remembered reading this on yours. The thing is, I was thinking it had to do with the fact that you had things public and then later went back and privatized them. Mine was always private - unless I accidentally forgot to set that and then went back immediately and did so. (I'm a dingbat about that sometimes.) Dunno. I'll try what you say. . .

I'm going to have to go back and do this for my privatized entries. I had an incident where a student was trying to find me on MySpace, so I started f-locking lj. Bad stalker student! Bad!
