Joking aside, I was actually really surprised there were no child-bearing-related questions. And, hello - there are lots of ways to express yourself creatively that don't involve public musical performance. I really think that a lot of what we do with SCA A&S activities is "putting yourself out there" in the same way as being in a band or whatnot. You're still exposing yourself to public criticism, and possibly the more so for the fact that your audience is made of your peers (lower case fully intended).
