Happy belated Sock Day!
I'm trying desperately to get caught up on the sock club - this is the kit from last July. It actually arrived just barely in time to go to Pennsic. I think I remember opening it while I was sitting in traffic on the way, actually. Anyway, I got off the sock track for a while and fell behind, which is a shame because I really liked this kit.
Normally, I wouldn't choose a pastel colorway for socks, although I'm not quite sure why. I really like these, though - the colors remind me of rainbow sherbet. The pattern was neither too easy nor too complicated, which was also cool.
As you can see, even kittens like these socks. (Although one of them has a suspicious gleam in his eye - I better keep an eye on that guy.)
Goody Goody Gumdrops! Literally - the pattern is called Gumdrops, and the colorway is Goody Goody. This would be Rockin' Sock club kit, July 2008. Socks that Rock lightweight, size 1 needles.
My kittens are world famous sock models. I hope we're all appropriately grateful for their appearance here.
As you can see, this pattern is actually reversible for two different looks. Good Boy Phin is modelling the right-side-out version with the oval-y bits showing, while Fer shows his rebellious side with the curvy ribs inside-out.
And just because - have some gratuitous Kitty Pr0n -
Whew! All that modeling is HARD WORK!
