As part of my medical workup for my upcoming sleep study, they are running a stress test on me tomarrow. It will be odd to see my heart-not sure how odd compared to seeing inside my mother's head-but odd all the same. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, Ice storm. We cought the worst of it and the yard is full of downed trees. As a prefice, I grew up on this piece of property and lived in the trees as a kid-I'm very attached to them. Each time one would break over the last few days I would flinch and almost cry, it would sound like a rifle going off or a small explosion. ( Read more... )

and boy did we have a good day of it. I think we must have seen almost 10 bald eagles, one we got to watch up close for awhile-it was so cool. I've been laying out in my hammock reading-it is so beautiful outside today. The shoots are pressing up thru the leaf litter and the birds are singing-the joy of January in Oklahoma.

Sitting here with my kitten (she's over 2, but very small) sitting on my chest purring at me-also happy pawing on my sholder and twitching her ear in my face. I had the most awsome experience today. I went out with Kitty to see if we could find any Bald Eagles this morning. We drove all over out on the river and drove through The Nature Conservancy's Preserve and hadn't seen any raptors at all-which is really weird around here and it was overcast too. Oh my, I finally did the celebrty look alike and after a couple pictures that pulled up Cathrine Zeta Jones (I'm guessing it is the 1/4 Welsh showing more than anything) I got this result and just had to share. My oldest daughter has managed to look like both Hermionie and Harry-so it is somehow cosmicly fitting that I pulled up Ron?
