don't be stupid. tanks need love. i was cleaning the big tank on the window side &i almost hurled. there was a large WAD of algae hanging off the filter (which was dripping with grossness too).. it also had NO AIR

I spend three hours there every day busting my ass in that room, don't blame me. I broke down the piranah's tank, cared for all of my team's tanks, made water barrels, and helped teach first years to test tanks -- not every second year is a waste of space.
