So whoever decided that it was a good idea to do the two-phase flow experiment with refrigerant(my undergrad research job) needs to be shot. No one thought about the fact that at room temperature refrigerant is a GAS therefore cannot be in a two-phase region unless the temperature at the time of experiment conduction is below room temperature.
