With blossom now on the trees and sunshiney weather making me think of sipping some very fine perry on the banks of the Wye, I wondered if there's anyone else out there I know who likes to drink fine cider and perry? I don't mean the fizzy, commercial, made-from-concentrate stuff like Magners, Bulmers, and Koppaberg - but real cider and perry -

Incidentally do you like real ale at all - there's quite a lot of bottled real ale that uses sea moss as finings so are vegan-friendly. Let me know if you're into ale and I can point out a few that are vegan if you like.

I normally prefer apple cider to perry, but at the Reading beerfest I found a really dry perry (normally it's a bit too sweet) which was loverly : )

It certainly is good - did you know you can get it in Garcia on Portobello Road? I think they have Zapaian for about #3 a bottle (may be more, I haven't braved Portobello for a while due to the crowds on a Saturday). We also got hold of some more compangos so we can make fabada \o/
