so I am quite lucky - it's nothing special, but nice to have something in my wardrobe which is extra special :) it is 60% silk, so will be carefully handwashed - I refuse to dry clean ;P

hope the week goes smoothly for you, btw

That's a lovely skirt! I'll have to keep a better eye out for stuff like that from the US. Vivienne Westwood stuff on UK eBay is still really expensive!

it's not bad, especially as it only cost me seven quid incl p&p ;PPPP it is Gold label item, not sure what that means in VWestwood label terms - like the way that the back is not a split, but a pleat, and all the seams are all nicely tucked in and sown neatly - class ! ;PPP

glad to hear the first day of the conference went well - all the best for the rest of the week :)

you put yourself down as you dance with a stately air of elegance, m'dear :)

will set the date of the first kung po when I get back from my hols, so I should be fairly fit-ish by then so I won't collapse in an embarrassing heap half way through the session ;PPP also, should be be around for the Saturday onwards then... though will most likely be working Clearing weekend, but can get a few weeks in before that happens... you'll be fine anyhow as you are now a gym-person ;PPP

did 30 mins brisk walking with *a little* jogging and was sweating bullets - so warm :((( apparently I worked off 109 caleries -oh woohoo ;P

'you put yourself down as you dance with a stately air of elegance' - nope, that's what comes of trying to dance AND stay upright whilst pissed ;) years of experience

I do a fine impression of a beetroot every gym session.

the new job is very busy (clocked up 40.5 hours last week without even trying) but is nice to concentrate on something quite different - I have gone from programme admin to systems officer so there is a learning curve, which I haven't had in a while (had forgotten how enjoyble it is, when people have time to let me know stuff, that is ^_- )

is yours panning out as you hoped, you have mentioned that yours is very busy..? sometimes it takes a couple of months to get a real feel for it, and for other work colleagues to get a feel for you as well. I have been lucky that I know a few people where I now work, though only now directly work with one of them. Oh, caught up regarding the water damage - poor you ~hugs~ hope you didn't loose anything which was of personal value..?

Congrats on the new job! ;-D I am happily trading my 40-50 hour/week affair for a moderate 37 but saying this as soon as I get into it there may be an increase in hours again :-/

well, don't overdo it and make youself feel unwell, as you deserve a good stretch of health and bounce! thanks for the congrats, btw, but it is only for a year, then I have to start looking again... the joy!

may the move go smoothly and Jemima settles in quickly :)
