I've been to New York City twice now, and I have yet to do anything that you are supposed to do when you visit. I never went up the Empire State Building. I have yet to walk through Central Park. No museums. No galleries, boutiques, Lady Liberty, United Nations, big ole library, Yankees/Mets game, Greenwich Village, historical houses, nothing.

I was in NY and stumbled across the polish parade too!

Sadly, we saw no parade. Only hard working immigrants and 15 foot tall paintings on either side of a stage.
