Anime Punch Review

Anime Punch was okay.  Not much to do really. :/  Mostly centered around anime

Friday-Arrived around 5ish and went into Yamcha costume.  Fooled around.  Went to who's line.  Saw Sam in her Sailor Jupiter outfit and met her friends that hung out with her and hung out with her til I got sleepy.

Saturday-Premiered my new cosplay outfit.  Fuu from ( Read more... )

Your Fuu is absolutely adoreable, Princess!

You did a wonderful job with her outfit. As far as people not recognizing you, it's like "HELLO??? This was on Adult Swim for like two freakin years people? You know ... that channel that all you goth kids watch Death Note on... "

Anyway, /rant

Anime Punch seems like it was a fun con and aside from the dealers room being in a tent (fail) and annoying Kingdom Hearts cosplayers (second in annoyingness to Narutards and maybe Deathnerds).

Overall though it sounds like it a pretty nice con though. Nothing epic, but still pretty fun. :)

I know. People should have recognized me.

Yea, stupid of them to put dealers room in a tent and Kingdom Hearts cosplay. I have panic disorder and when someone suddly hugs me or glomps me, that scares me to death and makes my heart feel all jumpy. I don't like it.

I thought I replied to fenrir ookami's comment yesterday but nothing is there.

As I tried to say before, you sometimes have to be in the right place at the right time to witness things that make Anime Punch epic. A scribe explained on poster sheets everything that happened in the anime we saw in the bad anime room for 6 hours on Saturday night. A professional opera singer did an impromptu performance as Sheryl Nome from Macross Frontier. There were also some scheduled events that turned out to be pretty epic, like when Osamu Tezuka's personal secretary did the Tezuka panel and when they turned the atrium into a giant video room. Still, we will do what we can to make it more epic next year.

You didn't leave your name and I thought it was some kind of 4channer that left that. Sorry.

I don't consider Macross Frontier to be epic since I don't download anime (unless it will never ever come to the US, plus I rather it be streamed because it takes up computer space) and I have never watched it so I don't know what you are talking about. The only thing I know is the nyan nyan dance and its rather annoying. As far as the Tezuka panel, I was at Who's Line waiting on a friend (plus, I didn't know that guest was coming). I didn't see an opera signer at the con though.

Excellent picture. And who in the fuck puts a dealer's room in a tent?

I second this. I want to know whose idea was this so I can punch them in the face!

OOO your Fuu is very pretty. Sadly I didn't care much for the anime.

Anime Punch eh, I may have to check it out. Glad you had fun.

Its an okay con. I don't watch much anime either. The last anime I bought was Magic Knight Rayearth when it came on dvd. And thats a REALLY old anime. XD

Thanks for the comment.
