I really feel stupid missing ACEN because of the prop rules and such.  I should have went instead of using my money toward Colossal since the twins are no longer going to be there. *sigh

my best advice for you is for DE that complys with Otakon rules, is to get a cheep one, and super glue the shit out of it, making sure nothing moves. i have to do that with a 1911, not sure when ill buy one, maybe in the next week or so. damn work being a pain and not giving me hours, i missed out on a great deal on something ive wanted for a long time bc i couldnt pay for it.

Even if you still do that, they still give you shit sometimes for it being an airsoft. Katsucin goes by the same rules. They told us to get out for having a glued up con safe FAMAS.

That stinks though about your gun though. I can't believe they won't even allow airsoft that are superglued shut. Bleh.

I don't know a whole lot about where to get good gun props, but I'll keep an eye out and let you know if I see anything.

Ugh, good luck getting a new gun together...I know the rationale behind ACen's newest 'no realistic guns' prop rule was pressure from the police department, because actual criminals have been mocking up real guns to look fake. Let's go kill all the criminals for ruining our fun by putting orange tips on real guns so we can't have orange-tipped fake guns anymore D: D: D:

I didn't go to ACEN mainly because of that. Now I feel stupid for missing ACEN because there was a big MGS gathering.
