One of my Christmas presents was a gift card to Sur La Table. I selected a wonderful enamel covered pot, similar to this:

Stew pot. Does a lovely coq au vin (red wine) or chicken fricassee (white wine). I'm also fond of cassoulet (white beans with lamb, sausage, confit, and other goodies).

Mmmmm...all great ideas. What kind of white beans do you use in your cassoulet?
