Ok I got to spend some time with Angela today. We went shopping and we each found one christmas gift each. Woot! It was fun walking around the mall.

November 15, 2009 - Day 4
Ok not to much happend today. I finished another ball of yarn on my scarf. At least one more to go but I am happy at how quickly this one is going. Also Herby running around with a little football in his mouth was really cute too.

Today was a great day. It was my friend's birthday party and we all had a great time. We started out at the Science Center. Yay for science! It was fun. Then we had some tasty In&Out then watched movies and played games. Over all a very fun day!

I am going to comic con this saturday and I decided I needed a purse/bag to hold stuff. Mainly some extra flip flops when my feet cant take the heels anymore. So I went and bought some fabric that has the same design on it as the opening credits of enterprise and some straps that look like the mirror belts and put together a backpack! Ok well I have been procrastinating like mad. I have decided I want to learn to play the autoharp. lol It could be cool and its compact for my small space. Maybe after all this is done I will look into it further. I do want to learn something musical. It seems to be the one "art" that I am seriously lacking ( Read more... )

I have hit the point in my costuming where I really don't actually want to work on them anymore. I have been working on these things for months and now I am just tired but I still want them to be done. Its like running a marathon and dragging yourself across the finish line. Thanks to those who offered their advice. I started playing with the idea of tube casings and after numerous failed attempts I got it to turn right-side out on a small piece. Then I tried to do a long piece but it would only get about half way because the pvc vinyl would stick to itself.... very frustrating... So I sat there and thought about it ( Read more... )
