i made the tastiest dinner tonight, and i didn't even use a recipe! hooray, my cooking skills are improving, as is my cooking confidence! i made a delicious lasagna. a layer of lasagna noodles, a layer of ricotta, a layer of mozzarella, a layer of roasted veggies (broccoli, cauliflower & red bell peppers), a layer of ground beef & homemade marinara ( Read more... )

Oh my gosh, that lasagna sounds delicious!!! I MUST get the recipe from you (well, mostly just cooking times!)

I wish I lived within walking distance of stuff! I used to live close to a great Italian place in T-Town and I would walk there sometimes, it was great because you don't worry about drinking and you digest as you walk home! You're so lucky!

i've been asking my cats to make me lasagna for months - they never do. .sigh. you're post about lasagna isn't helping either.

I made the lasagna over the weekend. I used roasted red peppers and onions since broccoli and I don't agree with eachother. I can see why you would use big crunchy veggies, but all in all a very tasty meal. For some reason I thought lasagna was hard to make so I never had the courage to try it until I read your post. Thanks! I can't wait to try it again :)
