i think that i view the forbidden fruit, in genesis, as a metaphor of intelligence, and before partaking in it, i think we were all truely ignorant, knowing only one way, and that was whatever god told us. we just had to see what else was out there to compare it to the life we were living; it's just human nature to test things. life isn't really shitty because of god, it's because he gave us freedom of choice, and then because we chose to sin and treat people like we do. therefore, i don't think god meant for life to be so terrible at all, but i wouldn't be so fast to say he created it out of kindness, as maybe he created it out of lonliness instead.
however, this is all very funny coming from an agnostic person; and no not the "not ever believing in anything is out there 'agnostic'", just the kind who isn't sure what is and what isn't real, because you can't prove any religion philosophies whatsoever really.
Do you write those yourself? Because honestly i think they are wonderful! I am absolutly in love with your stories they have so much depth in them. If it is your writing Emma honestly keep doing it...you have a talent.
