i only just got a hold of parts of speech the other day and i thought of you, and oh, wow, what an album, i still favor individual songs on castor but i'm also very fond of the instrumentation on the new album, i think i need to just listen to it for another three weeks on repeat.

oh yeah, "if & when" is still my favorite, and the version of "kites" off castor, but i have been waiting on this album for aaaaaages, and i'm so glad it lives up to my expectations. there's just so much going on! ugh, why is she such a lyrical genius? why will i never be that good?
