I hate rain. I hate thunder, I hate lightning, I hate potholes, I hate traffic, I hate that I park on the street under a tree, I hate that I forgot how bad we had it earlier this year, and I hate that los angeles is still likely to be unprepared for any weather less than perfect.

I didn't realize you hated rain that much. I think I only hate it when I'm actually outside or forced to drive in it. You should mark SF off of your "possible place to move" list if you really hate rain because it gets really WET here during the winter/spring times and seriously gross when u rely on public transport.

How bout buying some sort of car cover? is that too much of a hassle?

the dirty car is a small annoyance, and yes a car cover is too much hassle. mostly i don't like the 40 miles i am forced to drive everyday. potholes start to appear EVERYWHERE and i have to dodge them constantly or panic that the huge kerplow i heard was not anything serious. there are tons of accidents, it takes me 50% longer to get to and from work, traffic lights decide not to work, etc.

plus thunder is scary :(

aww that does sound crazy. man 40 miles of that!

i think lighting scares me more. because im always paranoid i'll be the unlucky one who gets struck or it will hit the house im in or the powerlines and that can create an insane electrical surge.
