that is how I understand it, so I am trying it out LOL still confused.
It is confusing at first but truly, photos look much better than shooting in Jpeg. Because in PS once you save it is already compressed by a lot. So to start with a RAW file and save it as Jpeg in DPP, you already start with a really big file to edit with when you open it in PS again. And I showed you the recipe function right? I love using that in DPP But if you use photobucket when you upload it photobucket again secretly compresses it by a whole lot (even with a paid account). You won't notice unless you look closely because if you look at the photo in the frame dimension looks the same but if you right click, the size of the file is cut by more than 50%. Photobucket didn't do this in the beginning I don't think but after many people start to use it, they secretly do this to all photos. So I quit using it. I use Zenfolio now.
