I am so bored these days. Which is mostly my fault, I just feel so sluggish and like I don't want to do anything, which is not true...but I just don't feel like doing anything at all. I sit at home all day, maybe do some chores but mostly watch TV on the internet. What is wrong with me? I never used to do that, I used to be active and do stuff and ( Read more... )

Man, that's a bummer. If it's any consolation, I think 'post college' blues are fairly normal, especially if you're working temp jobs. At least you have something to look forward to, once you head abroad, though, right? Hang in there, it gets better, and if you find yourself in the doldrums, you're in luck because it's a free country and you can always jumpstart again and try living in a new place or at a new job or even go back to school. Things will work out, it just takes time.

Thank you Whit! I can always count on you to understand and cheer me up! I know everyone gets like this, but I still don't like it!
Hey, if all else fails I can still write that sit-com on the Fellowship!

It is hard to be in a place where you feel like you have lost sight of your goals. To some extent I think it is something very normal to go through after college. It seems like getting your degree it is supposed to mean you have it all figured out and you are ready for the real world but this isn't the way it works. We are all still figuring out where we are going and what we want to do. Remember that it is okay that you are still figuring things out. To some extent we never stop figuring things. If you think you have everything figured out it just means there is some eventuality you haven't thought of yet. There are plenty of opportunities out there for you. Just hang in there and try to keep a positive outlook!
