Persimmon orange and slate blue in one room ? . . . Okay, cuss me out if you just painted them that color and love it. I do like the house. It has lots of potential and a good layout. Plus a fenced yard. Always good when you have a cute little one like yours.

The color choice is completely my husband's fault/genius. He found the orange while we were at Home Depot looking for paint for the bedroom (which still isn't painted yet.) In order to get my brown bedroom accent wall, we comprimised that he could temporarily have an orange family room. I came to love the idea of the orange.

The blue was his "excutive decision" which sent him to the proverbial dog house for a while. But after dragging him shopping for curtain fabric (the old stuff I'd picked out but luckily hadn't bought yet) and finding a beautiful piece of artwork, the blue has grown on me.

Hopefully after we get our tax return and I purchase furniture, an area rug, and other accessories the room will completely meet our desire of fun, warm, and vibrant.

The persimmon orange is pretty and vibrant... and the blue is formal and respectful. . . just surprised to see them together. I hope I didn't offend.

Not offended at all. Your responce is typical of what I usually get. The color combination was definitely NOT my first choice. but I've come to really like it.
