More Sutcliff ebooks!

sineala pointed out that Blood and Sand is currently free on US Amazon (not...what I would have chosen as a Sutcliff teaser, but okay, it's also not the Sutcliff I would have chosen to adapt into Takarazuka Revue, either). The review up has an interesting side comment that I'm curious about:

I would also like to point out that the Amazon book is DRM'ed, which none of the other free Amazon books I've downloaded have been. This is only an issue if you want to read it on a device other than a Kindle or Kindle app, but as I prefer a different reader, I had to crack it.

Good to know! I tend to assume all books on Amazon on DRM'd, but I haven't tried cracking this one yet (which given that books I have actually paid MONEY for from Amazon have been known to vanish into the ether, I generally think is a good if questionably legal idea with ebooks).
