It was about time I revamped my profile. What better time than now? :)
Hello, everyone. ステファニイです (hence the username). My name is Stephanie and I'm a twenty years old Canadian girl from Quebec! So yeah, my native language is Frenglish French. :) Tee-hee! Feel free to call me Steph. I've been called that all my life and Stephanie sounds like a stranger's name... :P
Anyhoo, I'm studying to become an English-to-French translator, although I want to master many more languages later on in my life (including Japanese, which I'm still a beginner at, and Korean)! I'll most likely specialize in juridical or medical translation, but my dream job would be to work in the fields of literature and/or video games. You guessed it: I'm a nerd and proud to be one! :D So parties and the likes don't really interest me (although a beer or two can't hurt once in a while XD).
I'm somewhat strange (well, I've been called weird before :P); it all depends on whose perspective it is, though. The slightest thing can make me laugh, no matter how not funny it might be (like oyaji gags -- I think they're hilarious X3). Laughing and smiling is a big part of my life... :) But I'd say I'm pretty quiet and well-behaved in general, not the kind of person who'd start a riot or burn down a house. That might seem boring to some people, but it's really normal to me. XD
Oh, oh, and I'm a pervert. Really, I am. >____< I have no problem writing smut in English, but somehow, when I translate it to French... I just can't believe I invented all that. X3 It can get very embarrassing. 恥ずかしいーよ！ >///<
I love food and pretty boys (who kiss other pretty boys). That's me. :)
Music is my life and so is writing. I can't say there's an instrument I can play (not yet, at least), but I've always wanted to learn the piano. At least I've got my not too bad voice to work with... I love singing. :) Such a thing as a music-less day doesn't exist for me. Also, I can never go very long without writing a story. I have a few of what I could call "novels" and I would love to publish at least one of them one day.
TVXQ is my greatest inspiration. How grey my days would sometimes be if their music wasn't there to fill them with color. Jaejoong's kindness, Yunho's humility, Yoochun's puerility, Junsu's positivism and Changmin's wisdom... Those five men give me courage when I want to give up, they make me smile when I want to curl up and cry... More than anything, they make me strive to excel at what I do and become a better person, no matter what. Under the harsh rain and through the strong wind, like the song says, I'll be there waiting for them. And tomorrow will come.
