Summary: Takaki debates whether Yamada is really his or not, but Yamada proves him wrong.
Things had been rough for the past few days with Yamada Ryosuke and Takaki Yuya, Takaki had started to think that Yamada would rather go somewhere else to find love, especially to his girl friend’s, they were pretty and always flirting with him. Especially that Shida girl. It drove Takaki up the wall, almost to the point of explosion. Yamada on the other hand only saw his Takaki, his beautifully dorky Takaki, he had no idea of the other’s despair.
When Daiki come over to Yamada that morning to ask him what was wrong with Takaki, Yamada immediately said that there was nothing wrong, but taking Daiki’s words in caution he checked it out. There was definitely something wrong, so after practice he pulled his boyfriend up to the roof of the building.
“Daiki said there was something up with you today. I want to know what is up.” Yamada decided to be bold, he did drag a struggling Takaki up with him. “Is there something wrong? Did I do something wrong?”
“No of course not, why would you think that?” Takaki said quickly, a little too quickly for it to be believable.
“Then why don’t I believe you?”
“I don’t know, maybe because you have all these girls throwing their selves at you that you don’t have time to notice me!”
“What are you talking about? No girls throw their selves at me and if they do, I wouldn’t notice because I only have eyes for you! There are beautiful girls all over the world that I could be chasing but I would be wasting my time” Yamada told his boyfriend. “Why? Because they have nothing on you.”
“But you flirt back with all of them!” Takaki argued.
“They might say hi, and I might say hey, but you shouldn't worry, about them, I only have eyes for you because they got nothing on you.”
“Their girls! They love you with all of their being! All of the thousands of them, you have thousands of fans and maybe even millions, and you say you only have eyes for me but I don’t believe it, it’s not possible.”
“You’re not listening to me, I may flirt back with them, but that is because I like having fans, as we all do. You flirt too!”
“But I don’t mean it when I do! I love you too much to ever hurt you like that!”
“I know you feel where I'm coming from regardless of the things that I've done, most of it really was for fun, do you understand that? It’s just like Yabu and Hikaru flirting with everyone else around them but they always return to each other’s arms afterwards, we all do it.”
“There's so much nonsense on my conscience and I'm thinking, maybe I should get it out but I don't wanna sound redundant but never mind that, we should let it go.”
“There are beautiful girls all over the world that I could be chasing but I would be wasting my time” Yamada repeated to his boyfriend, just to make it stick. “They have nothing on you.”
“But you have millions of choices! You can choose anyone you like and you choose me? Why?”
“I choose you, hands down, I know there will never be another one, that I will love as much as you, I been around and I never seen another one that even comes close. Because even though your style isn’t really anything out of the ordinary but you’re wild when you got nothing on, baby you the whole package, and you keep it real. You tell it like it is and I love you for that, you don’t, well didn’t bottle things up and we were able to talk things through like we are doing so now.”
“But don’t you get jealous when I do the same thing with people around me? When I do that sexy move that make all the girls scream?”
“Of course but I’m usually right along with the girls screaming! You always steal the show
And just like that I freeze, usually no matter what I’m doing, I have to force myself not to stare because I wouldn’t be able to control myself if I didn’t. If you never knew that I’m sorry, and now you know.”
“Are you sure? You don’t make that too believable.” Takaki still asked in disbelief.
“Whether I’m on a bus, a plane, a car or a train there are no girls on my brain, and you the one to blame because they got nothing on you. You’re the one I love and nothing will ever change that alright. They got nothing on you.”
“Alright, I believe you, I’m sorry for being such a girl.”
“It’s okay.” Yamada said softly, Yamada pulled over his boyfriend and gave him a chaste kiss on the lips. “I love you too much to hurt you that way and I’m sorry.”
“I forgive you, as long as you come back to me, it won’t bother me anymore.” Takaki pulled is boyfriend into another kiss, this time longer, more sensual and passionate. They stayed up there for a long time, just in each other’s embrace staring at the sunset and being in love.

They stayed there until it was well after dark. But they didn’t care, when Yabu found them much later, he told them that it was time to leave. Only then did they get out of their embrace and walk hand in hand to where their member was smiling happily. “I’m glad to see it all worked out.”
“Did you have any doubts?” Takaki asked with an eyebrow raised as they walked past him.
“Of course not,” Yabu smiled and shut the door to the roof behind them.
And Yamada will never know how close he was to lose his Takaki; he will never know how he cried to the members of BEST about how his relationship was failing with Yamada. He will never know that Takaki was so distraught that he was not eating, for that night they went to a big dinner at a restaurant then they went to Takaki’s house where he was alone. It was then that Yamada stayed the night and the next day almost unable to walk. It was a week later when Yamada flirted once more with a fan and it was the same day when was no longer a big deal to Takaki. He had his Yama-chan and he knew that any girl that flirted with his Yama-chan had nothing on him. He was too perfect.
