I woke up again to more news about the bus incident in the Philippines... again, thanks to my friends on Facebook.

Oh my God, I recognise the uniform. What are these people thinking?! That... That place isn't a tourist attraction. Were they completely unaware of what happened or did they just go, "OH LOOK! THIS WAS ON THE NEWS LAST NIGHT! LET'S TAKE A PICTURE TO PROVE THAT WE'VE BEEN THERE, TOO!" This is downright being insensitive.
I badly want to hit my head against the wall right now...

Again, I don't know whether to cry or get mad or... I just don't know. Was the President really smiling during the press con? Mr. President, please don't give me any more reasons to dislike you. I still remember going against my father's side of the family because they wanted you to take the position. I didn't believe that you're capable of leading our country. I'm giving you a chance now that you're there. Make something good out of this.

I'm so sorry, Hong Kong, that this tragedy happened. I'm sorry that our SWAT team is so incompetent... We understand how you feel and you have every right to get mad at our government. We sincerely apologise and I hope someday you'll forgive us. Not every Filipino is like Mendoza, nor the SWAT team, nor any of those people who were being insensitive about this. The Philippines is a country full of problems... and as much as there are people who already gave up hope that we could do better, there are also those who believe that the Philippines will still have a bright future.

Aaaand a call from the school saying that I will be a note-taker for my English 101 class made me take my mind off things. Last semester, I was actually considering being a note-taker for this coming semester. Now I have that chance to be one. Wow. Can those people read minds? Because I seriously didn't mention anything to anyone about wanting to be a note-taker... I didn't even know what you need to do to become one.
I am now confused... and a bit scared.
And because you didn't know, I wanted to be a note-taker because there was this guy at my Sociology class before who's just there, sitting somewhere in the room, taking notes. I thought it was cool and that's when I thought of being one. End of story.

Have I told you that I'm excited to go back? I want to see if I could actually make friends this school year. I didn't make any last year... or maybe I did, if you count that guy from Music class that I used to talk to always... It'd be nice if we could have another class together again. If not, then... it's okay.
I-it's not as if being alone is un-awesome, r-right? Right? Prussia takes pride in being alone because he said it makes him more awesome.
