I wanted to open something up for discussion to my friends, because I don't exactly know where all of you stand on this issue & I've been asked my views on it many times before.

Where do you stand on abortion: Pro-choice or Pro-life, and why?I'm going to include my response in an LJ-cut below, because I don't want to influence anyone's answers

Those are my thoughts exactly. I started thinking as soon as I saw the cut and pro-choice came to mind, and all the reasons were here :)
I agree, sooner the better. It's not fair, even if the baby isn't entirely developed.

i'm glad to hear someone shares my views too. :) i tried to think of the big reasons i agree with it, but in general, i still think it should be the woman's choice even if she doesn't have those issues. i would hate for anyone to tell me that my body isn't mine by saying i shouldn't decide what i can & can't do to/with it. and i agree, i think it's terrible to wait so long & then decide you're going to get an abortion. i mean, yes, it's a hard decision to make, but it's better off to decide sooner what you want to do.

Haha no need to be sorry! I havn't talked to you in FOREVER!
I like to think that most women would get an abortion within the first month or two, as I can't believe that they wouldn't begin to love the child as their own before that.. I mean, the child is a part of you.. yeah.

It's a very touchy subject to talk about, unfortunately.
