Hankyung always listened, when Henry was playing his violin alone, eyes closed and small smile on his pretty lips. His eyes always followed ever moves of his fingers, arms and body, which swayed from this energetic melody. And Hankyung never left before his song was over. Strangely it grew out as a habit; he had hard time to get away when his feelings that consisted of admiration towards the younger male stared to change to something deeper, much, much deeper.
And, in one of those days, when his schedule wasn’t so full of any of those shows and the rest of Super Junior-M was out, wanting to spend the free time fully, he leaned against the counter, a cup of water in his hand. He sighed, looking in it, his thoughts running around Henry. And the worst is that he couldn’t control them or lessen at any rate. His longing was just getting bigger. That’s not good, he sensed that.
“Ge, something bothering you?”Hankyung looked up the moment Henry walked in the kitchen and threw himself on one of the chairs, turning it that much so he would sit facing Hankyung.
“Mm?” Hankyung a little surprised, gave him a questioning gaze before he answered Henry’s question. “No, but wasn’t you out just now?”
“Ehh, I got bored.”
“Sounds like a lie. I can’t believe that you did,” Hankyung chuckled.
“The couples are the ones enjoying their time together,” Henry was a little biter, his eyes wandering away from Hankyung’s smiling eyes.
“Oh so that’s the problem.”
“Don’t think that I’m complaining. I’m not, for sure. Just… I don’t know… I kind of feel left out since there is no one by my side,” Henry spoke his last words so softly, barely above whisper that Hankyung leaned closer to hear them.
“But is there someone in your mind already?”
“There…is,” Henry hesitated just a little, his cheeks pinking after his words.
Hankyung’s heart sank, but that little smile he wore didn’t disappear from his face.
“And mind to tell me who that person is?” Hankyung didn’t dare to hope that he’ll tell, mostly he could get shy and run away or stay silent.
“I-well, it’s you. You’re that person,” Henry stole a glance Hankyung’s way for a second before
Hankyung needed to place the cup ion the counter to prevent it from falling out of his hand any second. He just needed to get it right, to make sure that he didn’t mishear and don’t make Henry think that these feelings aren’t mutual.
“Henli, look up,” he said it gently.
The called boy didn’t move or made a sound, too embarrassed about his sudden outburst and the reaction the older man will may make.
Hankyung kneeled in front of him and his finger lifted Henry’s chin up, so he could look in his eyes. “Did I hear right?”
“Yes,” Henry muttered.
“Then how should I answer… the person in my heart are you. You know what? It makes two, then. I think you know what it means.” Henry was smiling wide by the end of his last sentence, again.
Hankyung leaned in and kissed him on lips, Henry’s eyes fluttering close. Their lips moved against each other, savoring, with love, not awkward, just so right in arms of each other.
