There's one entry there where a woman thinks she can get her husband to buy her new drapes if she gives him anal. Maybe I don't get it but is that supposed to be funny?
When that particular collumn came out Gawker had the same reaction and contacted that woman and apparently she was totally serious and thinks its "sexy in a submissive way" to trade sexual favors for gifts/attention from her husband.
Actually, now that I've looked at this reminds me of Chateleine - which may be the Canadian equivalent. A gf of mine in TO was in it recently - I found out over mass email to girlfriends, to which I replied "Has Chateleine suddenly become cool?". Got lectured by one mate (single, childless) that "we've grown up now and some of us have interests in children now" yadda yadda yadda. YAWN. Doesn't mean the mag is cool.
Hehe.. Looked at the Chateleine website.these mags are all the same. How many how to get more, better, oftener sex articles can someone read over the years. And they're so dumb they're funny.
