So the other two are out. Finally. This time the experience was not so pleasant. With only 3 out of the 4 ones crowning, the last one was to be drilled into and broken in order to be removed. Mind you I was AWAKE the entire time. They didn't offer general anesthesia. I could hear the drill and even smell my tooth being hacked into. I almost freaked ( Read more... )

I'm shocked every time I hear someone describe their terrible experiences at the dentist...and this is no exception! I thought it was the default to put someone to sleep when they had wisdom teeth pulled...guess I was just lucky! I'm so sorry you had a hard time of it! I'm so proud of you for getting it taken care of, though - I think most people would have put it off anyway even if they realized how much worse it would be later!
