Cosmo the Man

I brought Cosmo home from the pet hospital today. He has about 12 stitches in his leg at the knee. He hates a crate so bad that I bought him a "play pen". It's made to confine small dogs. It's like a dog corral. He has his own bed and water and everything! He feels like he is still a part of the family but he can't go rushing out the dog door

Awww.poor l'il guy. I hope he's soon recovered. The playpen sounds like a good idea. It will be hard keeping him from jumping about, it's their nature isn't it?

What kind of dog is Cosmo? It must be awful for him not to be active if that's what he usually is.

Can you pick him up and set him on the couch next to you?

This sounds like a good idea. Contains the dog, but not in too small a space. Can you carry him with you and let him sit on the couch with you? Surely he needs the physical comfort.
