I understand how you feel, Suzan. I don't follow a religion myself preferring to think of God being all of us intertwined including nature, but I appreciate how religion is meaningful to so many. It's complicated but if you find the right church and you have the interpretation that suits you it can be a very rewarding experience that enhances your life immeasurably. I too think of God "being all of us intertwined including nature" but I also love and respect Jesus Christ and his mission to bring us all to a place where we would love and take care of each other......I really don't think he ever imagined his mission would get so "Lost in Translation!"
