for those of you that don't go to hampshire (or maybe for some that do), here's a prime example of how different being a house intern is from being a standard RA: I was leaving the building the other day when I noticed three large boxes unattended on the landing between two halls. Yeah, last year my friend and I were walking down some hall in Dakin when we came across some intern whose birthday it was. He looked both ways, then proceeded to share his bottle of whiskey with us, encouraging us to drink it straight from the bottle. God, I miss Hampshire.

Yeah... I thought about it later, and I was like, "should I have done something more?" and I talked to some other interns, but they weren't being disruptive, it was totally within her rights to have the alcohol, they weren't on a sub-free hall with it... there was literally nothing I should have done. Which is why I like being an intern and not an RA.
