Yesterday, I contacted Coach P to arrange for a later morning lesson on test day. This worked out and we (yes, drug my husband along) left the house this morning at 7:00 am. Many, many congratulations, and enjoy the Blues and Starlight (I love both dances, even though I skate them, if at all, extremely badly).

Many, many thanks. Glad to have these under my belt, so to speak. I also enjoy the next 2 dances coming up. At least I can do the Blues solo and get all the way around. Not so on those Silvers! Keep dancing and smile, so no one can tell how hard they are!

Congratulations....And personally I think a pass on a bad skate is okay...it would have been no contest had you been on!

You are right - I will take a pass anyday. The dances weren't "bad", just not up to my usual standard. Oh well, there is always a next one!

Hey Karen - yes the Pink dress arrived just in the nick of time. I may not keep it or compete in it again. The videos show the dress very well, but the color kinda washes me out. It's so hard to tell the color from a website picture. There is one clear warm pink that I can wear well - this dress was not it. But it is gorgeous! See you on Friday!

Ok, I promised I'd get here, and I finally did today. What an entry! You are going to be at Gold sooner than you think! And you will be competing them, of that I am certain. That is going to be great to see, and I am hoping I get a chance to see you compete at Gold. Love that Pink.

And again, congrats on your pass. Obviously you demonstrated clearly enough you fully deserve to move on. I think judges know that tests make us nervous and/or sometimes our absolute best is not shown. I think it is much harder, most of the time, to be in the zone for tests! Proud of you, and hope you are proud of yourself! See you Friday maybe at the rink?
