A Parting Note

Below is an excerpt from a Skating magazine dated September 2007, exactly 1 month before I started ice dancing with coach P. It hit home then, and it hits home now. So what is the new venture? It sounds as though there might be something exciting happening?

In any case, skating will still be there if you choose to come back to it at any time. My father has just started riding regularly again at the age of 86! Although he has ridden occasionally over the years, he has not actually ridden regularly for over 60 years!

Good luck at Adult Nationals, Susan. I'll miss you, but you know I'll be at the boards cheering in spirit. Remember my edict about practice ice! Own yourself from the moment you step on!

SuZQ, am sending you TONS of energy for Adult Nationals. Did I miss something in your posts? This last one sounds ominous, but I know you are NOT leaving skating. You will knock 'em dead at AN. Most important, have fun and sparkle!
