Yup, my position was eliminated. Last night. Spent the a.m. doin' unemployment *things".

I tend to look at this as the Universe reshuffling us into careers/jobs/pursuits that are more fulfilling. Stay tuned...

Thank you! I'd really appreciate that.

Can't say that I was too happy, working every night when everyone else went out and/or took classes. And the work I was getting wasn't particularly interesting - although the people were cool and interesting. I think my strength is working with people in whatever else I do (legal assistant, assistant, secretary, coordinator, or ?)

Yow! I am sorry to hear that. But I think you have the right attitude. The last time I was let go, it opened up doors I never would have imagined could open.

Yeah, with all the people who I've supported when they've been laid off this time around, the Universe is giving me the opportunity to not only talk the talk, but to walk the walk. *wink* And wonderfully enough, I wasn't laid off ONE MINUTE before I was mentally, emotionally, and spiritually ready.
