It was ab fab! It was like a dream come true...somehow different from seeing Stevie, the crowd was almost more pumped than her usual audience. The Scissor Sisters DJ was also providing FM and Stevie remixes for everyone to dance to between sets.
One of my favorite skits was a woman who performed a special version of Operation Desert Angel (voted worst Stevie song by the emcee). It was a weird robotic version that went along with her performance of a "rebirth" of sorts. There was also a troupe that performed the cleaning lady version of "Sara" complete with one drag queen dressed as a maid wheeling out a queen dressed like Stevie in a garbage can. Then they re-enacted the Tusk video with a twirling queen, cardboard cut-out of John McVie, and a afro'd out Lindsey. Gah! It was just like that "I feel home" sort of thing. /rambling

If I move to Chicago (which may be happening in August...?) you will have to meet her!

Are you going to see Stevie in Cincy?
Reply
Nope, not seeing Stevie on this tour. :(
I can't get a babysitter long enough to go to Curves for a half hour, much less to a concert in Cinci. =/
