The more I look at the pictures I posted in my last two entries, the more I realize how much I hate those damn cabinet doors. I'm so glad I asked to have them re-made, and that they'll eventually be replaced. Not sure when, but they will.

They'll look great with some really cool hardware.

Will the ones on the left be flush like the ones on the right?

What I'm envying from here are (1) the windows and (2) the sink! The sink is fab!

Also, the plethora of cabinets...

Thanks! (I think?) Every time I stand at my sink and look at the back window, it makes the whole "moving the stairs to combine three spaces" worth the effort. I sometimes forget that it used to be impossible to stand in the kitchen and see into the back yard.

Since this is my first post in your journal (Hi!) I'm not up-to-date on everything. So my question is...do you have cabinet hardware selected yet?

I did see the plotted out pictures of faucets though and had to laugh since that is SO something I would do!

Well, I'm glad to know I'm not alone in my craziness! (Plotting the facucet to scale.) Can you believe how gargantuan some faucets have gotten? I can already see a backlash - Moen, for one, is coming out with more diminutive versions of some of their more popular ones (under a different line name, of course ( ... )

I'm shocked at how big that faucet is! I haven't really looked at them in awhile so seeing that one plotted out was just shocking. I guess so many homes are so large scale these days that they need ginormous faucets.

I love glass pulls - I think they would be lovely in the dining room - formal or no. I can see how in the kitchen they might be a pain though. I am obsessed with replacing our bathroom cabinet hardware as well as most of the light fixtures in the house. Alas, DH doesn't see that as a high priority for a house we're not staying in permanently.

I am on LJ but I rarely post in my own journal - I use my CC one more. I friended you so that I remember to stop by!
