My mom bought me memory foam for my bed. It arrived today in a small box. Emalie and I let it unroll (you can't unroll it yourself or it'll rip) and now I need to wait a day for it to return to regular size but it already feels AWESOME. I'm watching Montgomery Clift in "A Place in the Sun" on the projector. Old films are particularly compelling on the larger screen. I saw part of it when I was a little kid. I think my sister brought it home when she worked in the film department of the public library. The scene I saw haunted me even though I didn't really understand it.

Thanks for all of your comments earlier. I'm feeling much better, though I am a bit emotionally exhausted.

Though we can't save all the kids, I guess we can still try to impact the time that they are alive, even if we only impact a few hours.
