i don't really like "gemstones." i love "friends of mine." i thought his voice was great on that. i think "gemstones" is really cheesy.

Yeah, that's the impression I got. Friends of Mine was cheesy in a great way, while Gemstones goes past the line of cheese. Like, even "Crackhouse Blues" doesn't sound too great, and that is when you know something is wrong with the world.
