I'd go with terrifying. I believe the teacher who is quoted as saying the objective of the exercise was to get the students to read. What teacher in their right mind would want to teach a bunch of kids the art of witchcraft -- can you imagine the problems: I don't like that homework assignment sir, now you are a toad. *poof*

There is just too much information out there to be had way too easily. The only thing that keeps kids from getting it is their ability/desire to read it. The people who shut down this activity are acting out of this fear.

We should all be terrified and outraged.

Ah good old Jesus, sticking his nose in again and generally fucking things over for everyone.

Where would he have been if some beardy killjoy had come along and banned all the woodwork books from his school, eh? The Job Centre - that's where. You don't get to be Messiah on the dole...
