I guess it must be, I was still in America when it happened and I've been back 11 months :(

I think today is the anniversary of his last broadcast, and he died a week or so later.

But I might be making that up, since I just tried to look back through my diary archive and don't seem to have made a note of something that at the time shook me deeply :(
