Music and Art Festival
The Lancaster music and art festival has begun and we have concerts in the town square at the gazebo each day at noon each day. There are concerts at different venues, stages set up all over town - the little normally quiet place is buzzing with the orchestra players arriving and staying in homes that are here for the week or so prior to the ( Read more... ) -

What A DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is my first post in forever it seems. I just got tired of reading my own writing, actually, but yesterday deserves a post. It started out OK, well, sorta....it's the end of the school year and I play for lots of commencements, end of school programs, award dinners, you get the picture. Pavlo's Massey Hall Concert, Toronto, On.
It was sold out and it certainly had more than the "WOW" factor going on. The concert was almost three hours long. Pavlo was incredible - we knew he would be - but he was even more than we expected. It's becoming more real now as we have purchased the tickets for the show Oct. 21 in Toronto. Hoping to meet with Drea at the bare minimun either for an early dinner on Saturday evening or brunch on Sunday morning. Nana, see those kids on the 'mercial?......
..."I want to do that". That is a quote from the three year old grandson, Cameron, the other day as he was watching tv and a commercial came on during his Little Einstein's cartoon that had some children in it. Have to explain Dr. Lil'Boy..
The doctors name is actually LeuVoy and is prounounced La-Voy. Cameron lives with two adults that were born and raised in the south so to his little ears this name become lille boy and he changes it phonetically to Lil'Boy. We tried explaining to him and prounouncing the name correctly and he just nods at us and after the rudimentary practice, the ( Read more... ) -
What a day....the kid behaved like a KID.....
The first thing I discovered this morning when I came into the family room was that Cameron had taken a ball point pin and scribbled on the tan leather couch . I was livid to say the least and the time out chair was brought into play! Cameron was very contrite and apologized and vowed he would never do anything like that again.
