Wet Clark is such a fun image. I thought about staying away, after reading twinsarein's offerings earlier, but... well. There's never too much wet Clark and this was a bit different in tone. (says I)
I'm glad you posted these. I especially liked the one about movie night. Somehow I think they should wind up watching Top Gun - enough action for Pete, enough romance for Lana and Chloe, and enough subtext for Clex.
I had fun writing them. And the sad thing is, they were all done on time. But I went to work out and then came back and played video games, and my window of opportunity to post was lost...
Oh well. >D I'll take this as a sign to get off my butt for the next challenge and post early.
You're right that Top Gun would have been a better choice for compromise, but... then Clark couldn't have complained about it. And with the boxing in Far and Away, I think there's still some good action. No subtext, sadly, but the Clex can sneak away while everyone else is busy and create their own anagrams.
Your drabbles were done in time, lol, it says you posted at: "1st-May-2010 06:32 pm" which was within the "May 1 at 8PM" which I'm gonna take as you entered just fine.
"It's Raining" was a fun one. I loved how you described Clark's awkwardness, and the thought of Lex guiding him into another rhythm is sexy as hell.
"Movie Night" *snerk* I loved their arguing over which movie, and I enjoyed Clark's thoughts on "Interview..." The last couple of lines were especially funny.
"Gray..." What can I say, the cat's got my tongue. *g* I'm impressed with the variety of cat saying you fit in there. I loved the line, the rain washed away his colors. That really grabbed me.
"Overcast" You make me really want to know what's wrong with poor Chloe. You painted a very sad picture of her in the rain.
These were wonderful additions to the prompt. I was going to say that I sympathize with you being late, since that happened to me last time (although I posted it days late, really and completely forgetting about it), but I see from a comment below that she accepted them. So, that is awesome. Sorry I didn't comment earlier.
You did get to them, so no worries about the delay in commenting. ^__^ I appreciate that you took the time.
They were quite fun to write and it is very cool that she's letting it count, since they weren't that late. I just fail at time sense sometimes.
I actually wrote them in reverse order of the way I posted them, meaning I started with poor Chloe. Given a few more words, I was thinking of taking it off to femslashy places, but... *shrug* I'm happy with the way it turned out.

It was fun to write, even if it kind of managed to go all over the place in just 100 words. >D
