01. Name a movie that you have seen more than 10 times: The Princess Bride

02. Name a movie that you've seen multiple times in a theatre: X-Men (#1)

03. Name an actor that would make you more inclined to see a movie: Just one? Johnny Depp and Daniel Day-Lewis are way up there. Lately I've gotten a bit of a thing for Paul Rudd, too.

04. Name an actor that would make you less likely to see a movie: Matthew McConaughey (shudder). Just seems like a total cocksman to me. I hate that.

05. Name a movie that you can quote from: Princess Bride

06. Name a movie musical that you know all the lyrics to all the songs: Not so much into musicals. Can't think of one for this question.

07. Name a movie that you have been known to sing along with: Probably just Rocky Horror-- but I haven't seen that since grade 10.

08. Name a movie that you would recommend everyone see: The Barbarian Invasions. An absolutely fantastic exploration of human relationships. The dad's such a dog, but so charming.

09. Name a movie that you own: The 40-year-old virgin. I love the mixture of sweetness and vulgarity.

10. Name an actor that launched his/her entertainment career in another medium but who has surprised you with his/her acting chops: David Bowie. I blame him (and Sting) for giving me a taste for foppish men (though it did serve me well!). Though apparently, The Last Temptation of Christ was his best movie, and I haven't seen it as of yet.

11. Have you ever seen a movie in a drive-in? Yes. I seem to recall Meatballs being the last one-- in footy pajamas in the back of a station wagon, no less! Was that even a kid-suitable movie? My parents had a track record of taking me to inappropriate films, some of which scarred me for years :)

12. Ever made out in a movie? Yes...in grade 10. Eesh. Shudder.

13. Name a movie that you keep meaning to see but just haven't gotten around to it: Citizen Kane.

14. Ever walked out of a movie? Mom and I walked out of Lion of the Desert in 1981. My stepdad stayed, and loved it.

15. Name a movie that made you cry in the theater: Amelie gets me teary every time. I absolutely love stories about people overcoming their own internal limitations to find happiness.

16. Popcorn? Too much nasty crap in stuff at the theatres for my taste. I like homemade popcorn with movies, though.

17. How often do you go to the movies? Rarely. 3-4 times a year, maybe? I'd go more if there were more stuff I wanted to see!

18. What's the last movie you saw in the theater? Hellboy 3, I think.

19. What is your favorite/preferred genre of movie? Character-driven stuff, especially if there's humour in it as well.

20. What was the first movie you remember seeing in the theater? E.T.

21. What movie do you wish you had never seen? We recently watched a foreign "dog movie" called "Bombon". A dog movie in which the dog is not endearing, the protagonist is pleasant but totally out-to-lunch, and none of the characters are fleshed out in any real way.

22. What is the weirdest movie you enjoyed? Being John Malkovich

23. What is the scariest movie you've ever seen? 28 Days Later stayed with me a long, long time.

24. What is the funniest movie you've ever seen? Hmm. 40-year-old virgin or Borat. I absolutely howled pretty much all the way through both.
