I broke Photoshop

Aug 08, 2007 19:19

Uh, anyone know why I can't see text in Photoshop unless I make it like 1000pt?

Also, limoncello knocks me out. I just closed my eyes and the room was spinning.

And no, the two issues are not related.

Check the picture resolution (under Image -> Image Size. The lower the resolution, the larger text has to be to show up. (For example, for text to show up the same size in documents that are 1200, 300, and 72 dpi, the font size has to be 2.25pt, 9pt, and 37pt respectively.)

How did you manage to break photoshop? I agree with Jen. If that doesn't work, try resetting all settings. Then if it was a changed setting that caused the issue it should go away. That's a last resort though.

See you Sunday. I can't wait!

Later.

Resolution was the issue. No clue how I changed the resolution in the first place, though : )

Apparently anywhere from 30-50%. Some recipes call for Everclear.

I suggest putting plastic wrap over your monitor and using a sharpie. That should be quite legible.

Hazza! Excellent!
I am glad that your Photoshop's status is no longer "non-functional".
